About Akash Takyar
I build things at the intersection of AI and enterprise, and write about what actually works, once you get past the demos.
Akash Takyar is the founder of LeewayHertz, one of the earliest and most recognized AI and blockchain development companies globally. Over the past decade, he has led the design and delivery of AI-powered enterprise systems for companies across financial services, healthcare, supply chain, and government. This work puts him in rooms where the real decisions about AI adoption get made.
He started writing ai.future because most AI content is written for people who aren't deploying AI. The use cases are hypothetical. The risks are underplayed. The operational realities are left out entirely: the compliance reviews that kill timelines, the audit requirements that nobody built for, the security questions that no vendor can answer.
This publication is for the people in those rooms. CIOs who need to understand what they're actually buying. CTOs trying to explain to their General Counsel why this is different from the last system that got rejected. CISOs trying to define a blast radius for something that has never had a defined blast radius before.
If the content here sounds like it came from someone who has been in those conversations, it's because it did.

What this publication covers
Enterprise AI deployments that are failing, and why. Compliance and governance gaps that vendors won't tell you about. Infrastructure decisions that determine whether an AI pilot survives procurement. The shift from capability-first to governance-first AI purchasing. And the occasional prediction that turns out to be right earlier than most people expect.
No hype. No vendor endorsements. No content that requires a 10-person AI team to act on.
